Chemical Engineering and Technology was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2006, and the enrollment began in September of the same year. In 2011, it was listed as a Key Construction Major in Anhui Jianzhu University. In 2015, the major was awarded the Provincial Construction Project for Outstanding Chemical Engineer Training, and the chemical laboratory was selected as the Provincial Demonstration Experiment Center. In 2019, the major was awarded the construction project of “First-class Undergraduate Talent Leading Base” and “First-class Curriculum” in Anhui Province.
